I don't drink wine -- however, Erica, Michael and Jason said they were excellent too. The feast in this photo was an excuse to enjoy a white something-something. The main course featured a dry red something-something and filet mignon. Props to J-man for a P-E-R-F-E-C-T grill job from my medium to Erica's "Dracula rare" and for procuring the fine meat and wines.
I neglected to take a picture of Erica's 3-layer dark chocolate cake with vanilla bean buttercream frosting. There's a little sliver left in the frige... maybe I'll take a picture of it on the special monkey plate she brought for Jason and post it...

wait a minute, is she a witch, or a vampire ? seems to be a pattern here...
uh yeah, who ARE you putting up pics of wine and cheese when there's cake to be photographed. sheesh, just when you thought you knew someone...
Oh, my comment about the state of Erica's steak is more about ITS condition than hers! She's been captured on film and likes garlic, we KNOW she's not a vampire...
Cynthia, you know what happened? We were all civilized BEFORE the wine started flowing and we started chowing down... hence the BEFORE picture. As the courses progressed we cared less and less about appearances and fixated on the feast in front of us. Alas, by the time the cake came out of the frige, the best I could do was scoop ice cream... photography was beyond me.
very well then, I suppose you are forgiven. So long as you recognize and remedy the problem... :oP
