I hopped out of bed this morning and slipped over to the berry farm. Rolling onto the field at 6:30, there were already a couple dozen cars parked. The picking was amazing -- I had this huge tray filled in 20-25 minutes. They're delicious... I'll be going back for more, later in the week!

Bad Monkey!

It's been months since I jumped on my fancy typewriter and flung a blog post out there. No banana! (Literally, there are no bananas in this joint... I've got to swing by a store.) Anyway. Busy, busy, busy working on our place -- both inside the house and outside. I haven't been taking many pictures but I need to start. I told Gram we would bring photos when we visit for her birthday in a couple weeks. (She's turning 94) Here's one I managed to get when the lilacs were in bloom:

Shalimar India

I was emailing with a friend the other day, and we are planning to meet for lunch in the near future. I started thinking about what I like and places I haven't been for a while. Then it popped into my head, Shalimar India in Portsmouth! I dig that place and it's been over a year since I've enjoyed their delicious food. MMMMmmm... Malai Kofta and Onion Kulcha... mmmm... and Veggie Pakoras... Dal Makhanwali... I could go on and on. Okay, I definitely know the place -- we just need to set the date and time (and it needs to be soon).
